Did you ever know that Darth Vader wasn't originally going to have a mask? 'Cause he wasn't going to. George Lucas planned to make him have a Samaria look. But in a scene they were filming (not in the movie) Darth Vader had to jump from one ship to the other and he had to wear a mask for it. Then George Lucas fell in love with the mask and wanted Darth Vader to wear it at all times. So they had to think up a reason for him wearing the mask. And that's why in Revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan defeats Anakin A.K.A. Darth Vader and he falls in the lava. And had to have all of the things he wears in the older episodes like his suit and mask and that's also why he can't use sith lighting.
May the force be with you,

question: can jedi use force lightning? i think they can but im not sure. in the movies yoda repels force linghtning and on the cover of a star wars darknest series book luke skywalker is useing lightning. also in SW the force unleashed it is called SITH lightning.
Hi!
I was wondering f you could do another post on POadme with some more pics. from Episode 3. Thanks!
@Jake, yes jedi can use sith lightning, its official name is force lightning but I guess due to only ever seeing sith use it in the 6 movies I guess the name just slipped in. Some jedi who used it were: Plo Koon, Kyle Katarn, Jaden Korr, Kyp Durron, Jaina Solo, Mara Jade Skywalker Luke Skywalker and Cade Skywalker. Most jedi councils did forbid it because it was viewed as inherently corrupting.
I got a lot of this info off the Wookieepedia site you gave me.
Wow. I didn't know that. Well, you learn something new everyday. Even if it is about a movie.
That is interesting...wow!
Thanks for posting that!
